MMQG March Meeting

Our monthly meeting was held Thursday, March 12 @ Patch Halifax on Robie St.  Thanks to Chris for letting us use her shop for our meetings.    17 excited quilters attended.
Our business meeting was short and sweet.  We talked about our charity quilt project and decided to get a headstart on sewing up some tops since we have so many blocks to work with.  We are making 8 1/2" HST blocks.   Enough blocks to make a quilt were bagged together and passed out to those interested in sewing them into a top of their own design.

Our program for the evening was cancelled due to the speaker being ill (Hope you feel better soon Linnet)  so we chose to use that time for being social, after our swap and Show and Share.

Our MugRugSwap was a huge success.  The mugrugs exchanged were all just wonderful! And useful!
