MMQG June Sew-In Day RECAP

This past Saturday was MMQG's June Sew-In Day.... aka Fun-Day!  13 members brought all their gear and settled in for a wonderful day of sewing, sewing, sewing! There were baby quilts being quilted, there were bindings being made and attached, there were quilt blocks being sewn into quilt tops, there was baby clothes being made, there was paper-piecing and hexie making and quilt consults and lots more. On top of all that, there was friendship and support along with a lot of inspiration.  You should come next time!
Here's a few pics of  some of the quilty goodness going on during the day.

MMQG June monthly meeting Recap

Our June Monthly Meeting was well attended by 28 excited modern quilters.  The room was abuzz with hellos and then Adrienne, our president, called the meeting to order.  After quick business meeting we went directly to our program for the evening...Pixel Quilting with Aimee.  Guild member Aimee Semel, gave us a detailed account of how she pieces her amazing pixel quilts.  Here are some examples of her work.
