MMQG at NSFAF 2015

Our 2nd Annual Quilt Show called "Quilting Modern" was a huge, wonderful success.  We set up our display in the lobby of Amherst Town Hall
as part of Nova Scotia Fibre Arts Festival, this past Thursday morning and talked to many visitors over the next few days.  Our show concluded on Saturday afternoon.  Here are lots of pics in case you missed it.

Our President, Adrienne, set up her sewing machine and showed visitors how to "quilt as you go"



A very nice surprise...Linda sold her quilt!

Our Val did a demonstration on how to make improv letters.  

   Hope you enjoyed our lovely little quilt show whether in person or here online.  We sure enjoyed displaying it for you to see. We are very, very proud of all of our members and their fabulous work.   Now we must set to work making new quilts for next year's show.!  Why don't you think about joining us!

    I had an amazing time in Amherst! The display was stunning and what a special treat to have the demos included! Fabulous that Linda sold her quilt and a treat to share in a picture with her! Thanks to the executive and quilty elves for doing such an outstanding job!
