It was a hot, humid, rainy, sunny mid-summer day in Dartmouth, NS on Saturday, July 23. 7 hard-core MMQG members attended and sewed and gabbed and ate popsicles.

Adrienne worked on a triangle quilt made using her stash of Denyse Schmidt fabrics. She finished that and started a new strip pieced project

Crystal worked on a pixel quilt using a preprinted fusible foundation. It's the way to go if you want perfect seaming. |

Shelly brought a fabric basket full of 2 1/2" low volume squares that she speedily chain pieced..hundreds of them! |

Susan worked on making a ton of microwave bowl holders. If you are on Susan's Christmas list.....just sayin'! lol |

Linda worked on sewing up a quilt top for our MMQG charity challenge. Two more rows to go! Our September Sew-In is dedicated to working on completing charity quilts.
