We've been "sew" busy with #mmqgretreat2017 (our Epic Retreat) and all the packing, sewing, laughing, winning, and packing again - this March Sew In Recap is a little late.
However - Let's just let the quilty goodness speak for itself. Enjoy!
Julie has a very lucky little niece, who will have a matching sassy apron for herself and her dolly! |
This sweet Michael Miller plaid will feature in two identical quilts for Karens grandson, who has bunkbeds! |
Linda has been hand quilting this beauty for about 8 years. Check out those teeny nine patches! |
A rare and welcome appearance from sweet Margo! And - Shelley's adorable featherweight. |
Jennifer was hard at work, assembling the Fancy Forest. What an awesome pattern - and a huge undertaking as a third ever quilt. The linen, the intricacy of all the animals... Jen has a lucky niece too! |
There was a meeting of the Sew Together Bags, great discussion on the method and place to attach the zipper ensued. |
Margo brought this red beauty to visit. |
And the new print on the ironing pad didn't disappoint! Cherries and vintage ladies! |
The Fancy Forest, getting a final press before basting. |
Brenda had a lot of print excitement on her table - all cut and ready to go. |
We had a bit of a Fan Girl moment - Carolyn Friedlander commented on this picture on Instagram and we were all like the heart eyes emoji. Which, would have been great if it could post here... :) |
