MMQG in P.E.I.

ATTENTION:  MODERN QUILTERS OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

The Maritime Modern Quilt Guild exists to provide a place where non-traditional, fresh, modern quilters can meet, share, and create.  The MMQG represents modern quilters in the Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.  We are part of the Modern Quilt Guild movement that encompasses over 100 modern quilt guilds in Canada, the United States, and other countries around the world.

While the MMQG is based physically out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, we are looking to offer members from the Island an opportunity to meet regularly here on the island.   Current and new members are welcome to join us for local quilty fun!

An information meeting will be held in the Community Room, Sobeys in Stratford at 7 p.m. on June 11, 2015.

Information on the guild can be found on the website at: http://maritimemqg.blogspot.ca/p/about.html.  Membership fee for the year for individuals living on the Island is $25 and must accompany the membership form found on the website.  The application form and cheque can be mailed to Maritime Modern Quilt Guild, 51 Meldrum Lane, Porters Lake, NS B3E 1E7.  The membership year runs from January to December.

We’d love to have you join us!  Please contact the president of the MMQG at:  maritimemqg@gmail.com or PEI Leader at: maritimemqgpe@gmail.com for more information.
