MMQG October Sew-In RECAP

Trimming up the last of the blocks

Several MMQG members showed up this past Sunday, October 25 to spend the day finishing up the quilting, binding and labeling on our Charity Quilts.
Adrienne printed up some labels that were handsewn to the back of our Charity Quilts. The final total looks like 11 quilts will be donated to The Lodge That Gives in Halifax.
Not bad for our lovely little guild.

Ready for sewing into a top

And.....done!

We also had time to work on our own projects.

Adrienne was cutting into some Christmas fabrics

Karen was working on her alligator quilt.  Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Anja has a finished quilt top.

Another top from Anja!

Quilting consult by Val

Val worked on her  Kona Nerd quilt.  It made us all gasp!  It is very awesome!

Can you tell who owns this pimped out machine?

Julie brought her baby and her Babylock

Hope you can join us next time. We always have a ton of fun.   Our next Sew-In will take place November 28 at 277 Rutledge Street, Bedford. You don't have to be a member to attend and it's a great opportunity to check out our guild if you are thinking of joining.
Please get in touch if you need more info.
